The main button gives access to the main menu which cotains basic functions for projects and support.

Project sections

3. Project sections
 
In ECO-engine the energy project consists of three sub sections and the results tab.
 
  • In the building model the building geometry is implemented
  • In the Construction's thermal properties section the user sets and calculates all the thermal properties of the constructions currenly used in the building model
  • In the building services all the data regarding to the HVAC systems, the Hot Water Systems, the Energy Zone Properties, the Solar Energy Systems,  the PV systems, the Wind generators and other electromechanical properties are set.
  • Finally in the Results tab the user can access the EPC calculations and issue the Energy Performance Certificate as well as other building reports and calculations for the heating and cooling loads.

Each section tab has it's actions. Those actions allow the user to perform several tasks during the editing of the project.

The section editor is the area where the user edits the project. Each section has its own editor interface.
