Height, wall and slab thickness of a building block with energy zones

The height of the building blocks with energy zones an important property because it describes the floor to floor height of their energy zones. To set the block height change the Height (m) property in the properties tab.

The wall thickness of the building blocks with energy zones has insignificant influence in the building modeling. It is useful during the block adjacencies calculations between walls and when drawing the shading surfaces position for better accuracy in the shading factor calculations. To set the block wall thickness change the Wall thickness (m) property in the properties tab.

Note: The Wall thickness does not affect the thermal properties of the walls of the block (U-value, Cm).  Wall thermal properties are based purely on the construction data specified for the walls, floor, roof etc.

The slab thickness of the building blocks with energy zones has insignificant influence in the building modeling. It is useful during the block adjacencies calculations between floor/ceilings and at the shading factor calculations. To set the block slab thickness change the Slab thickness (m) property in the properties tab.
